MSR® Gold Series chains built link-by-link using a chromoly steel construction with seamless rollers and bushings. The pins are oversized special alloy for added strength. All components are heat-treated using an exclusive Heat Induction Transfer process.
The Low Friction O-Ring chain uses the latest technology in o-rings to minimize drag. The cross section of the o-rings has three minimal contact points against the plates. This also creates two distinct channels that captures lube and protects it from the dust, dirt and water that contaminates it or worse, washes it away. During long rides the chain will only get better when others start to fail.
What all of this means is the MSR® chain is purpose-built to withstand today’s high horsepower motors combined with the elements that can shorten a chains life. Make sure you properly adjust the chain before each ride and it’s sure to last a long time.
